The free after-school Teen Activity Center in Chino Hills will start up for the fall Monday, Aug. 13, the first day of school.

Located directly across the street from Ayala High School at the Chino Hills Community Center, 14250 Peyton Drive, the program offers supervised recreational activities 1:30 to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday.

High School teens, ages 13 to 18, may enjoy a variety of activities including billiards, ping pong, games, TVs, music, and study areas.

The program is aligned with the Chino Valley Unified School District calendar and is closed on city holidays and school district days off.

According to city spokesperson Denise Cattern, approximately 20 to 30 students typically show up every day.
