The 94th annual Pioneer Picnic, a gathering to celebrate Chino’s pioneer heritage, will be held noon to 2 p.m. Sunday, May 19 at the Chino Community Building, 5443 B St. The free event, sponsored by the Chino Valley Historical Society and the City of Chino, will include a potluck, classic cars and a reunion of former and present Chino Valley residents.

Guest speaker will be Chino historian Kerry Cisneroz, who manages the Facebook account “Chino Memories -- Yesterday & Today.” He will share historic photos of Chino Valley during his presentation.

Guests are asked to bring their favorite entrée, side dish or dessert to share, as well as their own plates and utensils.

Owners of vintage cars are encouraged to bring their vehicle to display in the Community Building parking lot.
