Scrooge will sing with the Cratchits and the Fezziwigs at 8 p.m. Friday, Nov. 30 when “Scrooge: the Musical” debuts on the Chino Community Theatre stage, 13123 Seventh St.

The play, featuring Craig Jackman as Ebenezer Scrooge, is based on the Charles Dickens classic “A Christmas Carol.”

Writer, composer, and lyricist Anthony Bricusse took his 1970 movie musical and expanded it into a full-length stage play, described as a  rollicking, frolicking feast of entertainment.

Director is Michael Eastman.

Additional performances are 8 p.m. Dec. 1, 7, 8, 14, 15, 21, and 22; and 2:30 p.m. Dec. 2, 9, and 16.

The Dec. 9 performance is sold out.

Tickets are $15 for general admission, $12 for seniors and students.
