Champion Newspapers publishes two community newspapers serving the entire Chino Valley area in Southern California. The Chino Champion and the Chino Hills Champion are delivered by carriers and by mail to subscribers and others reaching over 90% of Chino Valley homes every Saturday morning. Copies are also available for sale at newsstands and stores throughout the Chino Valley.

Founded in 1887, the Champion is a NEWSpaper, not a shopper or a section of another newspaper used as a TMC. It is also a legally adjudicated newspaper of general circulation publishing legal notices for the cities of Chino and Chino Hills, the County of San Bernardino, the Chino Valley Unified School District and for local businesses (County Court Decree Number 73453, issued August 5, 1952).

Total combined full-run circulation for both our newspapers is approximately 42,800. Estimated adult readership exceeds 90,000.

Champion Newspapers are published in the NAA standard 50-inch web broadsheet newspaper format. Display advertising is sold in column inches. There are six display columns per page and each page is 21 inches tall (126 column inches per page). ROP display advertising may be purchased in either or both newspapers.

Our newspapers are printed at the San Bernardino County Sun/USA Today. The Sun is the largest daily newspaper in San Bernardino County. Thus, the Champion has the capability to receive your advertising via satellite (APAdsend), FTP or by e-mail. Preprinted inserts are shipped directly to the printer and are machine inserted by The Sun into the Champion before being delivered to our carriers.

The Champion offers several ways to earn discounts on your display advertising. They include weekly and monthly frequency agreements, annual bulk agreements, prepayment discounts, monthly-earned rates and stand-by advertising. Ask your account executive for details.
