Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church

The inside of Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Chino features stained-glass windows depicting the 15 mysteries of the Rosary, as well as a ceiling of wooden trusses and beams. The elaborate altar at the far end of the photo was hand-carved by wood carvers from Mexico. The mural of Our Lady of Guadalupe behind the altar was painted by a well-known Mexican artist. The original church at D and Third streets was built in 1903, torn down later and rebuilt in the mid-1950s, reopening in 1955.
