Please take notice that, on May 20, 2019, at 7 p.m., or as soon thereafter as the matter can be heard, at Chino City Hall in the City Council Chambers, 13220 Central Avenue, Chino, California, the Planning Commission will hold a public hearing for the consideration of the following project:
- PL18-0099 (General Plan Amendment) & PL18-0100 (Preserve Specific Plan Amendment) – A request to change both the General Plan and Preserve Specific Plan land use designations for the 3.1-acre project site from AG (Agriculture) to LI (Light Industrial).
- PL18-0101 (Williamson Act Cancellation) – A request for the tentative cancellation of Williamson Act Contract No. 71-310.
- PL18-0103 (Site Approval) – A request to construct a 50,618-square foot industrial warehouse building on the 3.1-acre project site.
The 3.1-acre project site is located at 9301 Remington Avenue (APN: 0218-301-18 & -20).
A Mitigated Negative Declaration (MND) has been prepared for the Rodriguez Warehouse project pursuant to Section 15070 of the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA). The MND is available on the City’s website at http://cityofchino.org/government-services/ community-development/environmental-documents. At the hearing, the Planning Commission will be making a recommendation to the City Council on PL18-0099 (General Plan Amendment), PL18-0100 (Preserve Specific Plan Amendment), PL18-0101 (Williamson Act Cancellation), and the Rodriguez Warehouse Project Mitigated Negative Declaration, and taking action on PL18-0103 (Site Approval).
The City of Chino requests your written comments on the MND during a 20-day review period which begins Tuesday, April 30, 2019 and ends Monday, May 20, 2019. All comments must be received no later than 5:30 pm on the last day of the comment period.
