Soroptimist International of the Chino Valley is hosting its seventh annual Brew and Chew, noon to 5 p.m. Sunday, April 7 at the Chino Fairgrounds, 5410 Edison Ave. (northeast corner of Edison and Central avenues).
There will be beer tasting, food trucks, vendors and live music by the Roadkill Gypsies.
Breweries planning to attend include Feathered Serpent Brewery, Euryale Brewing, Rescue Brewing Co., Main Street Brewery, Innovation Brew Works, Heroes Restaurant & Brewery, I & I Brewing, Chino Valley Brewery, REV Brewing Co., Bottle Logic Brewing, Revolt Brewing Co., Bootlegger’s Brewery and Lagunitas Brewing Company.
Food trucks participating include Cousins Maine Lobster, The Tropic Truck, Kono Pizza So Cal, Me Hungry and Bacon Nation.
Among the other vendors scheduled for the event are Nice & Bella (jewelry), Damsel in Defense (mace and related defense products), All Pro Detailing Supplies (automotive detailing) and MoreBeer! (beer making supplies).
Tickets on the day of the event will range from $40 for general admission to $50 for VIP which includes early admission. Ticket holders will get 15 4-oz craft beer tastings. Tastings of local food will also be offered. A $10 ticket is offered to designated drivers. Tickets purchased online are discounted, but a nominal service fee is also added.

Proceeds from the event will help fund Soroptimist programs, including the Stepping Up event for sixth grade girls transitioning to junior high, “Live Your Dream” Award to help women who are the head of their household go back to school, scholarships for high school girls, and to help fight human trafficking.
