The City of Chino Hills app, launched last fall, contains a hiking trails icon that takes users on a tour of the trails to check difficulty, time estimates, elevation gain, parking, and more.

The trails information also includes trailhead locations, maps, photos, and connections to other trails.

A feature called “report an issue” allows residents to report code enforcement concerns, graffiti, streetlight outages, and other complaints.

An “adopt a pet” icon allows users to see photos of animals available for adoption.

The “news” icon showcases events occurring in the city.

The recreation link provides the ability to register for classes and includes photos, video tours, and directions for parks and facilities.

The help center provides trash and street sweeping schedules and the ability to view the location of any street.

Live streaming of council meetings and contact information for the council is provided.

The free app is available on Apple phones in the App Store and the Google Play Store for Android phones.
