Twelve high school bands will perform today (Nov. 3) in the Chino Invitational Band Review and Field Show Tournament.
Field show tournaments will be 8 a.m. and 5:30 p.m. at the Chino High stadium on the corner of Park Place and Benson Avenue. Both shows conclude with award ceremonies.
General admission is $12 and includes the morning and evening field tournaments. Tickets are $10 for seniors ages 60 and older and for students with current photo ID. Ages 5 and younger will be admitted free.
Admission is free to the band review parade starting at noon on Riverside Drive and Benson Avenue. The parade will move west on Riverside Drive, north on 10th Street, then east on Park Place to the Chino High student parking lot.
A designated performance area will be set up at the end of the parade route in front of the school.
The Pasadena Tournament of Roses Selection Committee will be there to consider bands for the annual Tournament of Roses Parade in Pasadena.
The band review will affect street traffic around Chino High School.
