A 18-year-old Chino Hills High School student was arrested May 16 on suspicion of sexually assaulting a 15-year-old girl inside a car in Chino.
Yihao Lin was booked into the West Valley Detention Center in Rancho Cucamonga after he was arrested at Chino Hills High School, said Chino Police spokeswoman Tamrin Olden. She said police were called to the school at 8:09 a.m. on a report a Chino Hills High student was sexually assaulted in Chino.
“It was reported that on May 7, a 15-year-old female student was sexually assaulted in a vehicle by a known suspect in the 7600 block of Foxberry Street,” Mrs. Olden said.
Mr. Lin, who was released on bail and has not been charged by the San Bernardino County District Attorney’s office as of Champion press time Friday, was booked into jail by Chino police on suspicion of forced penetration with a foreign object and forced oral copulation, Mrs. Olden said.
