Chino Valley retiring teachers

Attending a dinner event for long-term and retiring teachers of the Chino Valley school district are Oak Ridge Elementary teachers and their spouses.  Seated (from left) are Rob Chick, Robin Chick, Roger Singer, Ellen Singer, Susan Newman, Gary Newman,  Harley Einsphar and Pam Einsphar. Mrs. Chick, Mrs. Singer and Mrs. Einsphar are retiring this year. Mrs. Newman received her 30-year service pin.

Ninety-nine retiring teachers from the Chino Valley school district were honored at a May 21 reception at Los Serranos County Club in Chino Hills.   

District employees of 10, 15, 20, 25, 30, 35 and 40 years received service pins.

Four community members who have significantly helped the school district were inducted into the 2019 Richard Gird Educational Hall of Fame.

The Ayala Jazz Combo performed as guests mingled and found their seats.   

Chino Valley school district superintendent Norm Enfield and school board president James Na addressed the crowd of several hundred. The event was reinstated three years ago by the school board.
