Los Portales Mexican Restaurant in Chino was established December 2004 by the Ayala Family, making this their second location. The Ayala family brought the name and recipes from their hometown, Sombrerete Zacatecas, Mexico.  They are a family owned and operated restaurant on the corner of Central and Walnut.

Los Portales participates and stays active within the community, whether it be providing food for churches or donating gift cards to associations such as the Relay For Life.  The Ayala family is proud to be part of such a warm hearted community like Chino. Since the renovation, Los Portales has become one of Chino’s favorite places with live music, Taco Tuesday and a full bar.

Their success comes from having a terrific staff and serving authentic Mexican delights such as fresh mouth-watering shrimp cocktails to delicious sizzling fajitas plate or Mole Poblano! Oh, let’s not forget their refreshing Micheladas, the best in town!

Los Portales offers a Taco Man Catering service, catering service, lunch specials during the week, breakfast specials on weekends and orders to go. If you are short on time you can call in your order.  Watch for Los Portales coupons in your local grocery stores and on the web.  Don’t be shy to say hi on Facebook!  What do you say I’ll meet you there.....
