Chino Hills High softball players Brooke Johnson and Kendall Mangell were named co-Baseline League Most Valuable Players for the 2019 season. 

The Huskies finished 28-5 overall and 9-1 in the Baseline League standings to win the league championship for the second straight season. 

Johnson, a DePaul University signee, and Mangell, a sophomore pitcher who has won 41 games in two seasons, were also the Baseline League co-MVPs in 2018. 

All-Baseline League first-team honorees were Chino Hills High’s Kayla Chavez, Kiki Estrada, Mykenzie Hanna and Makeni Brocki. 

Second-team honorees from Chino Hills High are Maddie Barnes, Tatum Johnson, Payton Kelly and Marley Basuto.
