Ontario Christian High pitcher Aaron McCraven  tossed five scoreless innings Tuesday, struck out nine and allowed two hits in the Knights’ 9-0 win against Riverside Notre Dame. The Knights, who are currently in second place in the Ambassador League, will meet first-place Woodcrest Christian at 3:30 p.m. Thursday, May 3 at Gregg Electric Field at Ontario Christian High School.

Ayala 4, Diamond Bar 2

Ayala scored a run in the fifth inning, added two in the sixth and a run in the seventh inning Tuesday in its win over Diamond Bar. Cole Koniarsky, Daniel Ramirez, Kyle Velasquez and Sean McLeod each recorded an RBI for Ayala. Velazquez finished with three hits, breaking Ayala’s career hits record with 117. The previous record was 116. 

Hacienda League

Chino 3, Los Altos 2

Chino’s Joshua Cate homered, singled and recorded two RBIs Tuesday in the Cowboys’ win over Los Altos. Jesse Cueva had an RBI double for Chino.

Baseline League

Chino Hills 8, Upland 4

Chino Hills led 8-0 after two innings Tuesday in its win over Upland. David Martin knocked in two runs for the Huskies. 

Mt. Baldy League

Don Lugo 3, Alta Loma 1

Don Lugo improved to 6-2 in league to remain in first place in the Mt. Baldy League standings with Tuesday’s victory against Alta Loma. 

Ambassador League

Ontario Christian 9, Notre Dame 0

Ontario Christian High pitcher Aaron McCraven  struck out nine in five scoreless innings, Moses Serrano went 3 for 3 with three RBIs and Jacob Pramschufer had three hits, including a home run, as the Knights shut out Notre Dame Tuesday.

Palomares League

Glendora 6, Ayala 4

Glendora scored four runs in the fourth inning after falling behind 3-0 and held on for a win Tuesday over the Bulldogs. Kayla Rodgers finished with three hits and two RBIs for Ayala. 

Hacienda League

Chino 4, Charter Oak 3 (11 innings)

Chino pitcher Emily Leavitt tossed 5 2/3 innings in relief Tuesday, striking out nine and allowing two hits in the Cowgirls’ win over Charter Oak. Leavitt also hit a home run, finishing with three hits and three RBIs. Malaysia Ochoa finished 4 for 5 in the game, including a walk-off RBI double in the bottom of the 11th inning for Chino.

Baseline League

Chino Hills 7, St. Lucy’s 2

Camryn Lyman and Kayleen Schneider knocked in two runs apiece for Chino Hills Tuesday in its five-run victory over the Regents.

Mt. Baldy League

Don Lugo 3, Alta Loma 1

Don Lugo pitcher Crystal Amaral struck out 18 hitters and hit a home run Tuesday in the Conquistadores’ win over Alta Loma. 

Ambassador League

Ontario Christian 10, Notre Dame 0 (5 innings)

Katilyn Hawkins knocked in three runs and Alexis Toledo and Ashlynne Burk each hit a home run in the Knights’ mercy-rule win Tuesday.
