Andrew Orosco (Chino High School, 152 lbs): lost to West Torrance’s Baron Gaunt, 11-4; defeated Righetti’s Adan Solis by pinfall; lost to Great Oak’s Joseph Conroy by pinfall.
Daniel Prescott (Ayala High School, 160 lbs): lost to La Canada’s Ben Donaho by pinfall; lost to Dos Pueblos’ Alex Bello by injury default.
Kyle Pruitt (Ayala High School, 285 lbs): lost to Alemany’s Dohnovan West by pinfall; lost to Laguna Hills’ Tony Miranda by pinfall.

Chino’s Robert Moreno singled home the game-winning run in the bottom of the eighth inning Wednesday, lifting the Cowboys past Serrano.
Don Lugo Tournament
Ontario Christian 1, Don Lugo 0
Ontario Christian freshman Alexander Terriquez had an RBI walk-off single in the bottom of the seventh inning Wednesday as the Knights defeated Don Lugo at Gregg Electric Field at Ontario Christian High School.
Don Lugo 6, Excelsior Charter 0
Don Lugo opened its season Monday with a shut out win over Excelsior Charter of Victorville.
Ontario Christian 2, Rowland 0
Ontario Christian scored twice in the fourth inning, finished the game with four hits and used three pitchers for a combined shut out of Rowland Monday afternoon.
Ontario Christian 5, Montclair 4 (9 innings)
Ontario Christian’s Daniel Serna finished with two hits and an RBI and Jacob Premschufer had a hit and an RBI last Saturday as the Knights held off Montclair.
Frozen Ropes Tournament
Apple Valley 6, Chino Hills 3
Chino Hills High’s Connor Brady finished with three hits and Ayden Ruiz and Michael Rosales had two hits apiece, but the Huskies fell to Apple Valley Wednesday.
Chino Hills 4, San Dimas 1
Chino Hills’ Blake Borgogno had two doubles and Michael Rosales, Connor Brady and Skyler Agnew each knocked in a run last Saturday as the Huskies topped San Dimas.
Ayala 12, Murrieta Mesa 0
Ayala freshman Cole Koniarsky went 3 for 4, including a double and a home run, and senior Daniel Mendez homered last Saturday in the Bulldogs’ shut out win over Murrieta Mesa. Dylan Cook tossed five innings, striking out two. The Bulldogs scored eight of their runs in the fifth inning and added four runs in the sixth inning in the victory.
Ayala 17, Murrieta Mesa 0
The Bulldogs scored five first-inning runs, added four runs in the fourth inning and poured on eight runs in the seventh inning in their shut out victory against Murrieta Mesa. Dylan Cook had a grand slam and finished the game with five RBIs.
Joe Naranjo had three hits and finished with five RBIs and Ethan Rivera went 4 for 4 and knocked in a run for Ayala. Naranjo also pitched six innings, struck out nine and allowed four hits and a walk to earn the win.
Fullerton 4, Chino 1
Chino High’s Manuel Malgra knocked in a run in the sixth inning last Saturday, but the Cowboys fell to Fullerton.
Fullerton 8, Chino 4 (9 innings)
Fullerton scored four runs in the top of the ninth inning last Saturday to pull out a victory over Chino.
Manuel Malgra had two hits and two RBIs and Isaac Ruiz and Roberto Moreno each brought home a run for Chino.
Claremont 3, Chino 1
Chino fell to 0-3 on the season with Wednesday’s loss to Claremont.
South Hills 3, Chino 1
Chino opened its season Tuesday with a loss to South Hills at Greenbelt Park in Upland.
Stu Penner Classic
King 18, Ayala 5
King scored 14 runs in the sixth inning Wednesday in its win over Ayala.
Ayala’s Kayla Rogers finished with three hits, Marisa Zorrilla and Tatiana Garcia had two hits apiece, and Alyssa Gonzalez had a triple, two RBIs and scored a run for the Bulldogs.
Ayala 7, Hemet 0
Ayala’s Kayla Rodgers had a two-run double, Kyleigh Sand finished with a single and triple and Kaylee Moore had two hits and scored two runs in the Bulldogs’ win over Hemet last Saturday.
Ayala 4, Temescal Canyon 2
Kyleigh Sand had two hits and knocked in two runs and Kobie Hura and Kaylee Moore each brought home a run in the Bulldogs’ victory last Saturday over Temescal Canyon.

Chino Hills 10, Summit 9
Chino Hills rallied from an 8-0 deficit by scoring 10 runs in the fourth inning Tuesday in its victory over Summit.
Chino Hills 11, Colton 0 (5 innings)
Chino Hills jumped out to a 9-0 first inning lead and added two runs in the second inning Monday for a mercy-rule, five-inning win over the Yellowjackets.
Orange Lutheran 7, Chino Hills 3
Taryn Lennon had a home run and three RBIs and Mya Rodriguez finished with two hits and two RBIs in Orange Lutheran’s win over Chino Hills last Saturday.
Chino Hills 7, Kaiser 4
Chino Hills rallied from a 4-1 deficit by scoring two runs in the sixth inning and adding four runs in the seventh inning in its win last Saturday over Kaiser.
San Dimas Tournament
Ontario Christian 13, Azusa 6
Bridgette Trujillo had a double, two singles and four RBIs Wednesday in Ontario Christian’s win over Azusa. Kaitlyn Hawkins went 3 for 4 with three RBIs and Reese Montgomery finished with three hits and two RBIs for Ontario Christian.
Ontario Christian 8, Whittier 7
Freshman Bridgette Trujillo homered and finished with three hits and two runs scored in the Knights’ win Monday.
Alexis Toledo and Kellie Hough each knocked in a pair of runs and Reese Montgomery had an RBI for Ontario Christian, which scored seven of its eight runs in the fourth inning.
