Ontario Christian 3, Woodcrest Christian 2
Ontario Christian captured the Ambassador League title Tuesday afternoon with an extra-innings win over 10-time league champ Woodcrest Christian. Isaiah Ramos had an RBI and Alexander Terriquez scored two of the Knights’ three runs in the victory.
Knights pitcher Nolan Jorgenson tossed seven innings, striking out five and Dylan Schwartz pitched the final two innings, striking out two and not allowing a hit.
Woodcrest Christian starting pitcher Wesley Scott went eight innings, struck out 13 and allowed three hits and three walks and got a no-decision for the Royals.

Don Lugo 10, Chaffey 3
Don Lugo’s Johnnie Valdez and Connor Burns homered on the team’s senior-day celebration Tuesday.
Chino 5, Ontario 1
Jack Parker, Aaron Luna, Arthur Briones and Robert Gordon each knocked in a run Tuesday for Chino in its four-run win over the Jaguars.
Ayala 6, Yucaipa 4
Ayala High’s Joe Naranjo hit a three-run, go-ahead home run in the top of the seventh inning last Saturday in the Bulldogs win over Yucaipa, the fifth-ranked team in the state and eighth-ranked team in the country by maxpreps.com. John Pappas also homered for Ayala, which is ranked ninth in the state and 29th in the country.

Chino 17, Ontario 0
(5 innings, mercy rule)
Chino scored four first-inning runs, added a run in the second before scoring four runs in the third and eight runs in the fourth Tuesday afternoon for a shut-out victory against Ontario. Milaysia Ochoa, Violet Salazar and Brianna Juarez had two RBIs each for Chino.
Don Lugo 5, Chaffey 3
Don Lugo’s Cheyenne Hernandez, Morgan Flexser, Karra Leeger-Capraro, Ellie Garcia and Brianna Poteet each recorded an RBI Tuesday in the Conquistadores’ win.
Etiwanda 11, Chino Hills 6
Chino Hills had its 20-game Baseline League winning streak snapped Tuesday afternoon with a home loss to Etiwanda. Makena Brocki a home run and three RBIs and Brooke Johnson hit a solo home run and scored three runs in the game for Chino Hills.
Chino Hills 11, Rancho Cucamonga 1
Chino Hills High’s Brooke Johnson hit two solo home runs and walked three times and Kiki Estrada finished 3 for 5 with double, two singles and three RBIs last Saturday. Ciara Gonzales and Mykenzie Hanna added two RBIs each and Maddie Barnes knocked in a run for Chino Hills.
