Four Ontario Christian players scored in double figures Tuesday in the team’s win over Linfield Christian. Julian Alvaraz scored 23 points, William Mouw had 19 points, Dylan Haagsma added 16 points and Alex Schloeman chipped in with 11 points for Ontario Christian.

Julian Alvarez poured in 26 points, including four 3-pointers, Monday in the Knights’ win over Aquinas. Dylan Haagsma added 19 points and William Mouw scored 14 points for Ontario Christian (20-2, 8-0). As a team, Ontario Christian connected on 10 3-pointers in the win.

Chino Hills High snapped its four-game losing streak Monday night with a win over Los Osos. The Huskies led 27-13 at halftime and outscored the Grizzlies 22-13 in the fourth quarter.

Chino Hills High suited up only five players and were left with four players for the last quarter and a half and the four-minute overtime after one fouled out in their loss Jan. 11 to Damien. Several Chino Hills High players received suspensions for leaving the bench during an incident in the Huskies’ Jan. 9 game at Rancho Cucamonga. Will Pluma scored 24 for Chino Hills in the Damien loss. Austin Cook scored 22 points to lead Damien.

Chino Hills improved to 3-1 Wednesday with its one-point win over Upland. Dorcus Wu led the Huskies with 21 points and five blocks, Olivia Lusk finished with 11 points and Erica Collins added eight points and nine rebounds for Chino Hills, which improved to 13-6 overall.

Chino Hills High’s Dorcus Wu scored 14 points and had eight rebounds and Erica Collins had 11 points, 11 rebounds and four blocks, but the Huskies couldn’t catch the Grizzlies in a league game Monday afternoon.

The Huskies defense did not allow St. Lucy’s to score a point in the second half of their 55-point win Jan. 11. Dorcus Wu scored 20 points and dished out six assists and Erica Collins recorded 16 points, nine rebounds, two assists, two steals and two blocks for Chino Hills.

Chino snapped Ontario’s four-game league winning streak Tuesday, outscoring the Jaguars 57-36 over the final three quarters. Marisa Gonzales hit six 3-pointers and finished with 23 points for Chino (3-2 in league).

Aquinas trailed 23-14 after three quarters but went on to outscore the Knights 32-11 in the fourth quarter and overtime to pull out a league win Monday.
Maya Gonzalez scored a game-high 20 points for Aquinas, which improved to 12-6 overall, 6-2 in league.
Ontario Christian (14-6, 5-3) were led by Cassandra Gishwiller’s 11 points.
