Baseball players from Ayala and Chino Hills high schools will compete at 1 p.m. today (June 1) at the San Gabriel Valley League vs. League games at South Hills High School in West Covina. 

South Hills High is located at 645 S. Barranca St., south of the 10 Freeway. 

Players must have been named to the all-league first team to compete in the game. If there is not enough players to fill the roster, coaches can make their own selections. 

Ayala High players will compete on the Palomares League team with players from Bonita, Claremont, Glendora, Colony and Alta Loma high schools against the Baseline League schools of Chino Hills, Damien, Los Osos, Rancho Cucamonga, Upland and Etiwanda. 

Other games scheduled for today are Miramonte League (Pomona, Garey, Edgewood, Bassett, Ganesha, La Puente) vs. Montview League (Nogales, Sierra Vista, Gladstone, Workman, Azusa and Duarte) at 10 a.m. and the Hacienda League (South Hills, Charter Oak, Los Altos, Walnut, West Covina, Diamond Ranch) vs. the Valle Vista League (San Dimas, Northview, Covina, Rowland, Wilson, Baldwin Park) at 5 p.m.
