Chino High’s 77th Cavalry Band

Chino High’s 77th Cavalry Band marches along Riverside Drive in Chino  at the  48th annual Chino Invitational Band Review parade.

Results of the 48th Annual Chino Invitational Band Review and Field Show Tournament, hosted at Chino High School last Saturday have been announced. 

Bellflower High School won Sweepstakes in the morning field tournament and placed first in Auxiliary and Percussion. 

Arcadia High won Sweepstakes in the evening field tournament and placed first in Auxiliary and Percussion. 

In the Band Review/Parade, the Sweepstakes winners were Diamond Bar High and Tetzlaff Middle School in Cerritos.

Parade judges also awarded Diamond Bar High and Palm Desert Middle School for Auxiliary; Foothills Middle School in Arcadia and Glendora High School for Drill Team; and Diamond Ranch High in Pomona and Riverside King High for Drum Major.  

Tetzlaff Middle School won for highest score in Drum Major among the middle schools.  Chino High and Ontario’s Woodcrest Junior High bands participated, but their scores were not included in competition.
