New monument unveiled

The restored military monument was unveiled at the Veterans Day ceremony at the Chino Hills Community Center Nov. 11. A joint Honor Guard of the County Sheriff’s Department and Chino Valley Fire District present the colors. United States and POW/MIA flags were raised. The U.S. flag was flown over the Capitol and gifted to the Chino Hills 55+ Club Veterans Group by Congresswoman Young Kim to recognize their contributions to the military monument.
