They pointed the way

New directional signs crafted by the students at Boys Republic went up last week at the facility’s entrance on Boys Republic Drive across the street from The Shoppes, as part of a new state licensing requirement. The persons for which the streets are named were chosen by the board for having a significant impact on the history and operations of Boys Republic, according to executive director Chris Burns. The signs are temporary to comply with the state and more notable versions will be placed on the actual roads next year, he said.
