Chino Police Department will host a bike rodeo, safety presentation and a riding tour of police headquarters 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. today (June 9) at Walnut Avenue Elementary, 5550 Walnut Ave., Chino. The school is just southwest of the police department. 

Police will give information on what residents can do to stay safe while riding a bicycle. 

The department’s bike patrol unit will offer a safety presentation and work with children on an obstacle course to enhance their bike riding skills. 

Bike repair and helmet fitting will be available. 

The event is free.
