Eight Chino Valley high school football players earned All-CIF Southern Section honorees in their respective divisions for the 2022 season, the organization announced Monday afternoon.
Ayala High School juniors Marquis Monroe and Nicholas Partida earned Division 3 honors.
The Bulldogs finished 8-3 overall, 2-1 in the Mountain West League. Monroe had team highs with 99 carries, 703 yards and seven touchdowns. He also caught 13 passes for 169 yards and two touchdowns. Partida was among 12 linemen in Division 3 earning All-CIF Southern Section honors.
For Division 7, Ontario Christian High’s Kellan Kirkpatrick, Marquis Bradley, Jacob Cox and Harrison Cornell were honored.
The Knights recorded a 9-2 overall record and 3-2 mark in the Ironwood League in 2022. Bradley led the Knights with 1,204 all-purpose yards, which includes a team high 732 receiving yards, 328 kick return yards and scored nine touchdowns.
Chino High’s Diego Ogata and Nathan Blanco earned Division 11 honors, leading the Cowboys to a 6-6 overall record and a 2-1 record in the Sierra League.
Ogata finished 75 for 140 passing for 805 yards and five touchdowns and ran 118 times for 1,187 yards and 13 touchdowns for the Cowboys.
Blanco played only five games this season, but averaged 160.6 rushing yards per game and scored 12 touchdowns.
Against Rowland High in the Sierra League opener on Oct. 14, Blanco ran for 300 yards and four touchdowns and Ogata rushed for 277 yards and five scores in the Cowboys’ 61-48 win over the Raiders.
