Division 2 

Norco 5, Don Lugo 0 

Eight-time defending Mt. Baldy League champ Don Lugo had its season end May 3 with a shut out to Norco in a first-round game. Menelik Israel had two hits and three RBIs and Michael Forbes had a hit and RBI for Norco. Don Lugo, which had a nine-game winning streak entering the game, had its season end with a 24-7 record. 

Division 4 

Alhambra 3, Ontario Christian 0 

Alhambra broke a scoreless tie with two runs in the top of the fifth inning and added a run in the sixth inning in its shut out win over Ontario Christian Tuesday in a second-round game. Xavier Perez finished with two hits and an RBI and David Beltran had a RBI sacrifice fly for the Moors in the victory. 

Canyon Springs 4, Chino 0 

Canyon Springs scored a run in each of the first two innings and scored twice in the third inning and shut out Chino in a first-round game May 3. Adan Delgado had a double and two RBIs and Josh Melendrez and Andrez Melendrez each had an RBI for Canyon Springs, which improved to 20-7. Chino, the third-place team from the Mt. Baldy League, finishes its season at 11-16.


Division 1 

Chino Hills 15, Ventura 1

Payton Kelly homered and Maddie Barnes, Mykenzie Hanna and Kiki Estrada finished with three RBIs apiece Tuesday in the Huskies’ 14-run victory at Ventura High School. Kayla Chavez knocked in two runs for Chino Hills, which scored seven runs in the fourth inning and added five runs in the seventh inning. 

Division 2 

Ayala 4, Buena 1 

Ayala’s Tatiana Garcia had a double and two RBIs and pitcher Emily Leavitt struck out five in the Bulldogs’ second-round win Tuesday.
