CHHS’ Duarte in vote for 'top runner' of the decade

Chino Hills High’s Jacqueline Duarte, right, is among 32 candidates vying for the honor of California’s top girls’ distance runner in the past decade by Mile Split California. Voting is taking place online at ca.milesplit.com. Duarte is the defending CIF State 1,600m champion and holds four CIF-Southern Section championships in three different events. She is also the two-time defending girls’ individual cross country champion in the Baseline League.  The junior missed most of the 2019 cross country season because a knee injury.
